The pilot seems to have landed in the wrong place. As far as I know the concorde has never been on Dutch soil. This must be a first for an airport in Holland.

On my previous post I forgot to mention the good result that my parents have with their BV LX 2500. It has been in use since 21 years and only two minor problems (Can't remember exactly what was wrong with it, but it was a cheap fix in both cases). The remote was replaced about 5 years ago, however.

My first B&O product was a Beocenter 9300 I bought in 1996. It needed a new CD-mechanism after 9 months. Of course this was replaced under warranty. My dealer had stopped his activities so my 9300 was sent to the distributor for B&O in my country (the Netherlands) for repair. They did a good job but were slow... It stayed there for 10 weeks

Daniel: I love it when they pick up things from their past! BV8 is with this Whiteline definitely the replacement for LX (and MX). This is great news! I like this very much. Finally my parents can replace their LX 2500 whiteline! I have to say that, like David, I regret the black corner. What is hiding behind there anyway? Just the IR eye for the remote

I have similar thoughts. I never liked the Beolab 7.1 and 7.2 speakers of the Beovision 7. It looks better with the Beolab 7.4. But for me, it's just not special enough. I have a feeling that we're a minority group, though. I also would fancy a larger Beovision 6, 32'' or as you suggest 40''. More connections would also be welcome

In short: You can't control the volume of B&O systems, it just controls the volume of the earpiece.

You are probably a victim of the poor attachment of the glass. B&O originally used double sided tape. Good luck finding a replacement BM4500!
