So... Who's gonna get one? I'll definitely get one, but only if I get the config software, as I reorganise my setup to often. p.

Oh! I was there last Sunday, it was a huge show in Berlin. No B&O stand though. The Grundig TV was very nice, except the "flower" thing, very disturbing as it "interfere" with the TV's picture. The Loewe booth was amazing and huge, lots of VERY nice TVs, etc... If B&O did not exist I'd by Loewe...

The specs read: Beo4 IR protocol, Beo5 IR protocol, RC5, Bitstream, NEC and Raw... I wonder what the new Beo5 IR protocol is about. p.

Yes a codec is a piece of software, but it can also be implemented as a hardware chip. A mpeg4 codec needs much more processing power than MPEG 1 & 2, and a simple software upgrade may not be possible if the hardware is not powerful enough. p.

... or you would need a DVD controller... but I am not sure it controlles every DVD out there...

Why don't you connect the TV audio out to the BS9000? AV2 expander would not work, as it is for the back of a Beovision. p.

The Beolink wireless does transfer signals, as it does allow the beo4 code to reach the main room. That said, the Beolink wireless transport sound from the main room to the link room not the other way. You should place your Beoport in the main room or Masterlink it (wired) with the main room. p.

On a BV7, when you go to the connection menu, and you can say wether the STB needs to be turned off. p.

Get a DVI to HDMI converter, it should not be too expensive. p.
