  • Re: BV 9 Full HD

I don't think it is worth it. You may decide to upgrade it much later in the future though, as there is likely to be a much bigger leap in performance. Liken it to upgrading your computer every time there is a slight increase, just not worth it. As soundproof says, the money would be much better spent on improving other things. Maybe if you're interested

  • Re: Beolab 9

Really? I've found that the BeoLab 9s don't perform to their full bass potential when using the BeoLab 1 setting. Maybe I'm imagining things? It would be good if you could do a comparison...

  • Re: BEOSYSTEM 2500

I envy you greatly! I would love a BeoSystem 2500 such as that to listen to outdoors (not that it would last long in the weather we had yesterday, beautiful weather today!). the only thing I have to listen to is my Tivoli iPal, which is great, but not quite B&O

  • Re: Rating system for every user - possible on this forum ?

I feel the behaviour on this forum is actually much much better than other forums I visit. Maybe a rating system for people with post counts higher than 100? That way we can be sure that people won't get shot down before they get a grip on what the forum is really like.

  • Re: BeoLab 3500 - is it two-way remote ready ?

Agreed! I see two-way communication as more of a gadget than a real benefit, although with a system as advanced as the 7000, it may be a benefit, with being able to control lights and advanced timers etc...

  • Re: BS3 panel new European BV7 (MK III) for both 40inch and 32inch ?

There was a way of doing it, as the Beo5 has no bluetooth, same as all other remotes. However, the solution was pretty clumsy and involved the signals travelling through a PC, which had a bluetooth adapter and IR receiver connected.

  • Re: Loosing my religion

Agreed! Nothing is as simple (yet advanced under the skin) as B&O. However, they are falling down in certain areas.

  • Re: Need advice regarding surround sound

You've already given two of the solutions, but the 'official' B&O ones would be: 1. Use a 'BeoPort', a device which connects to the USB on your computer. You would need to download a 3rd party piece of software to run it on a Mac, but it's actually better in the end. The software is called 'BM-Link'. This allows you to control iTunes as if it's a B&O

  • Re: Beovision 7 1080p

Wait for the update, it'll be worth it visually, as well as sonically if they keep the same sound processor used in the BeoSystem 3 (which I guess they will).
