Patrick in your diagram you have room 3 as containing BL2500. These are a pair of speakers which as Peter has said would require a Beolink Active to work. Although I notice that you only show one. Do you mean a BL2000 or BL35000 which are stand alone units. See the links below. BL2000 BL3500 Craig

Hi Patrick firstly welcome to Beoworld. This lot should be quite simple to set up. From what you say you have it all set up correctly. As in the BS9000, the Avant and your Beoport should all be connected to each other via Masterlink. Then the speakers should be connected to your Avant via Powerlink. You should set your equipment to the following options

Firstly welcome to Beoworld. Have you checked the Scart lead for the DVD1 has not come loose. As the I.R. commands are recieved by the TV and then sent along the Scart lead to the DVD1. Craig
