Hi Glen, and welcome! I'd just let it sit overnight before getting too worried. If it was really cold, some moisture may have condensed under the glass panels, and that could temporarily disable the capacitive touch controls. There's no way to open the doors remotely. If you need to open it to get your CD out, look under the front edge of the
Strange thing...... Frankfurt Exchange seems to be trading B&O up to 1Euro higher than Stockholm or New York (+9%).
I only follow OMX Copenhagen for this, as that's where the volume trading happens, and in DKK (which has a fixed exchange rate against Euro, but anyway). And you can actually see the real

You mean the high voltage cable that goes from the flyback transformer into a rubber hat attached to the side of the tube? The answer is very carefully - but you probably know that already if you've got that far... Feel the hat from its sides - you should be able to squeeze it a bit and feel how the two metal spring hooks inside it move. Squeeze

Working as designed, so it should be safe. Not much you can do about it externally, except just turning down the volume instead of muting. I guess it would be just a change of a couple of components in the autostart circuit to alter the time constant for automatic off, but I'm sure it's not worth the trouble.
Thanks for the reply..... I was wondering if you can tell by the 7000's serial number if it had the preamp integral. My reading up on other websites tells me that some do & some dont....
My guess is that you can safely bet it doesn't. It never was a standard option on the BM7000 (nor 6500), and

I bought some about a year ago, admittedly much too early. They got really low at times but I decided that I can afford to keep them just to be able to say I own the company Similarly, I marked the whole new offering this spring. All in all, my investment has just about doubled. Actually I did not do any share trading even on the domestic market before
