I love the look of the DVD2 and HDR2, I have seen them in the shop and they are beautiful. I am thinking of getting from B&O the parts that make the shell of the HDR2, so that I can cover my sky set top box with it. Then if one day I order a DVD2 or HDR2, I can nicely stack them ;-) p.

BritOps: Yes I agree, I feel its intrusive too and I'm always re-tuning my configuration settings. And some dealer would give the software away and some won't...

I was able to get one from B&O not later than 2 years ago.

DoubleU: The modulator kan be enabled by pressing PLAY for 3 seonds, with no tape in it. So, when it is activated, can the V8000 be connected to a MX or LX and be used to distribute the video of any sources to link rooms, like the VX7000? To de-activate the RF modulator, is it the same? p.

Isnt this tool to configure your setup for once and for all,untill you are going to add some more stuff? Or do you think you canget more out of it? Just

Take the current remote control that came with the set top box, go to a shop and try it on the new V+ box, if it works, then the Beo4 will be able to control it with the same settings, though the STB-C

I think the V8000 does not have an RF modulator, it is made for TVs which already have one...

The Beo4 does not control any non-Beo products. Your TV might control non-Beo product with a PUC or a STB-C. The list of devices is available in the menus. The Beo5 will control non-Beo products, but it seems more targetted to non-AV products, like curtains, etc... The official solution for controlling non Beo AV products is the PUC or STB-C in your

I visited my dealer at lunchtime with the intention to order one, but he would not give me the configuration software... so I won't buy it... I'll do other dealers this week-end and see, or wait until it appears for download on Beoworld. The funny thing is that the dealer said B&O expected it to "float" on beoworld!!! p.
