  • Re: Beolink 6500 + Master Control Panel - Help!

I also agree with the above. (One of the reasons I wanted to make sure of the model of your beomaster). Do you have access to a beolink 1000 remote control? or are you near any of us beoworlders as I'm sure someone can help here. Chris.

Hi Harry, what model is your tuner/amp? I am assuming it is a beomaster 6500. Chris.

  • Re: BeoLab 3500 - is it two-way remote ready ?

I have to support Graham here - Alex is 100% wrong. Laser eye surgery reshapes the cornea to adjust the focal length in much the same way as spectacles do. Lasering the retina would destroy your eyesight completely as this is the photo sensative area at the back of the eye which sends the image to your brain. Chris.

An excellent cause and one which I give to already. Another way to help this charity and which means just as much as any amount of money is to put yourself on the Anthony Nolan trust bone marrow donor register which I have done Chris.

Damn! I meant to get a photo of yourself Andy looking a little "green around the gills" on Saturday morning after the so - called small brandies the rather whacky hotel consierge served you on our return from the jazz club. That was a very surreal late evening Chris.

Just arrived back in Leeds myself and I can only echo everything Peter has to say about King Street. What a great set of Guys who made for an excellent day out for all of us. Even the Mrs enjoyed herself. I'm sure Andy will be putting together a little something soon with some (hopefully) not too embarrassing photos Chris.

Peter: Whereas I would say go for the 7000! Not the controller to use all the time - a Beolink 1000 is best - but the programming facilities are much better than the 5000 and far easier to use. You don't need the manual as it is nice and easy to use unlike the 5000, which I never got the hang of ! It can also double as a useful bedside alarm clock

  • Re: Beogram 6002

Hi Rob, yep, by the description of the auction it sounds as though the seller knew exactly that it was a non starter. However all is not lost, as one of the main cause of problems amongst these turntables is aging capacitors which cause all kinds of strange problems. Member "Dillen" (martin) sells replacement capacitor kits for these - with

Only programming & usual remote functions etc..... The doors will open automatically if the media (CD/tape) isn't present on selection via ANY compatible remote controlller - BL1000, 5000, 7000 or Beo4. Personally I would opt for the BL5000 for your system. The 7000 is indeed the coolest remote controller ever but not really designed for every
