  • Re: Beovox RedLine ?

  • Re: u264b prescaler. Is a u664b equivalent?

The newer U664B comes in several different versions but none of the ones I have tried worked. I remember one of them just flickered the digits wildly and I switched it off rapidly. I have a few original IC's still in stock but if you can get an original IC for less than EUR 10 in Germany, I suggest you grab it and run. That's about half the

  • Re: Beovox RedLine ?

Velkommen til Beoworld ! Det afhænger af typen. De har hver deres standard-fejl. Det meste kan dog klares. Kondensatorer i delefiltrene bør under alle omstændigheder udskiftes. Der findes kondensator-kit til de fleste modeller. Nogle har problemer med skum-kanterne på bas-enhederne og eventuelt på ABR pladerne. Dette kan

  • Re: Beogram CD5500 stopped playing

Beoworld is a fantastic place. Full of nice and helpful people with a huge amount of knowledge to share. Advice and guidance is always free, the only thing we ask is a little fee for access to a huge selection of manuals, catalogues and other nice info in the form of a membership. Beoworld cost money to run and we are depending on members support. If

  • Re: Speaker hum on Beomaster 1900

Yes, that's the one but it has already been replaced by ... something. Of course there can be other faults. - Correct control panel lamp wattage ? - Correct idle current settings ? - All capacitors replaced ? But check your mains voltage with a good multimeter (carefully of course). It may be considerably lower than you expect. If lower than 230V

  • Re: Komplet Beomaster 8000 / Beolab 8000 system sælges

Sveifors, I am using it with 4 pcs of JAMO POWER 555 speakers which it drives with ease. I like the sound of these speakers and actually prefer them to B&O's passives. Should I choose a pair from B&O, it would have to be MS150 or MS150.2. The MC120.2 are also superb speakers and not quite as large. The Beovox M150 is a bit too tight sounding

  • Re: Beomaster 5500, no sound from Left

As I understand it, neither SPK1 nor SPK2 or headphones produce any sound in the left channel, which rules out the relay. The relay fault only affects SPK1. It's very common to see lots of cracked solder joints in the connector bay. It's also possible to flip the signal cable to the power amplifier left/right to help diagnose but if you are

  • Re: Beomaster 1500 to PC?

You will indeed use the tape socket. The record signals will be taken to the PC since the PC will act as the recorder. If you also feed the playback signal the other way, you will be able to play from your PC through the Beomaster by selecting Tape. Martin

  • Re: Help needed to remplace belts on a BeoCord 5000/Aide au remplacement des courroies d'un BeoCord 5000

Hi and welcome to Beoworld ! It's correct that the service manual doesn't tell you how to repair anything. It's a common misunderstanding that the service manual will turn the owner into a technician with the skills to repair. No, it merely tells the tech guy how the thing is made and that's how it should be. I can supply correct belts
