Sal, Have you tried the controlling a different product with the Lintronics box ? You problem could actually be a problem in the Lintronics box. If you have a second Lintronics box you could also monitor the transmitted IR signal from the first to see what is exactly being sent.

I think Peter (PL212) is correct about this item being for dealers because the seller in Holland is selling 3 other items which are clearly dealer item such as a large flag with a Beo4 on it.

OK Santiago, You may have already tried what I am going to suggest, but perhaps we can go through the procedure anyway to try and resolve your problem. With the Beo5 NOT on the base, switch it off by holding the GO centre button for 5 seconds. Then switch it on again by pressing the GO button again for a long period Now, with the Beo5 configuration

Santiago, Subsequent to it saying that it did not download the new firmware, did you actually check to see if it still did the download because I noted you find it downloads anyway. Go into SETUP on the Beo5 then INFO to check
