  • Re: Beogram 8000 issues

1, I have tried all kinds of tape and none worked for me. It you can get some that works to your satisfaction, then fine. 2, The tracking force slider sits at the right side of the tonearm, a couple of centimeters from where it enters the plastic housing. 3, It's nothing like the 4000 series. The 8000 has no switch, it counts opto pulses and any

Welcome to Beoworld ! I'm afraid a cap kit won't solve these problems, or at least not all of them: 1, 2-comp epoxy and some metal washers or similar of suitable thickness to shim up the lid to the correct height. 2, Have you checked the tracking force ? 3, Clean and lubricate the threaded carriage shaft. Use a good silicone grease of the non

  • Re: Beolit 1000 FM re-threading diagram

Welcome to Beoworld ! Indeed a nice radio ! There are nice drawings in the service manual, available for download for silver and gold members. Well worth the small fee for all the information held in there. In my opinion also worth going for gold - checkout this months incredible prizes in the draw : http://www.beoworld.org/prize_draw.asp Martin

Joost, Please don't get me wrong but unless you are an educated tech guy I suggest you leave servicing of stereo equipment to someone who is. You not understanding the instructions given in the service manual and not knowing how to solder a multilayer PCB points in the same direction. In my opinion, a Beomaster 7000 is not the one to practice on

Den bruges til finjustering på kortbølge området. Populært sagt hjælper den med til at adskille og udvælge stationer, som ligger meget tæt. Martin

  • Re: S 80.2 Speakers

So it wasn't realigned and shim'ed. Sad case but probably repairable. Keep the speakers as a matched pair. Don't just change one woofer. If the other woofer is good and they are still the original ones, I recommend you get the bad one repaired rather than buy a modern "substitute". That will probably also be the cheapest solution

  • Re: beomaster 1400, FM is fine, AM/LW/SW no sound

Welcome to Beoworld ! Both are important. The uF to get the correct capacity and the voltage to achieve correct filtering and to insure nothing explodes due to overload. 4100uF - that's not a standard value and never were. Probably misread 4700uF - is it a new component or one taken from another set ? Don't get me wrong, but mounting a 40V filter

  • Re: Beovox RedLine ?

Martin
