Beolab: Puncher: My understanding of the change to the 8000's is that there was a slight change to the crossovers (~2003) to improve reliability (and alledgedly improve the bass although most here that have heard both can not tell the difference between the two). Maybe they have bad HiFi hearing? Because it´s easy to notice the difference

Hello Everybody As we all know and can see from the huge number of posts - the BeoWorld Spanish Forum is extremely popular!! However, the forum has been so harmonious since we started that we hadn't really given too much thought to the fact it hasn't actually got a moderator! No, not at all. In a 5.1 surround set-up the rear speakers bring the whole thing to life! That said, most of the time it's just ambient noise, echoes and the like - but you'd be amazed what a difference it makes. Lee
