  • Re: Beoport question

You can always use Windows Media Player to rip your CD's. Seems to work faster than Beoport aswell. Craig

  • Re: does "universal" remote work with beomaster 5500?

Peter: A few do - they are sometimes on eBay A while back I sold an Beovision to someone. When I delivered it they asked if their existinf remote for their MX5000 would work. It was one of those BL1000 replacements you see on Ebay. It was horrible to say the lest, very light and plastic. Nothing like a B&O remote at all. For what a second hand BL1000

  • Re: What's playing RIGHT NOW?

Been listening to Duran Duran's latest album. Red Carpet Massacre, it was one of my Christmas presents. All I can say at the moment is glad I did not pay for it. maybe it will grow on me, I don't know. Their later stuff just does not have the same appeal as their 80's and 90's albums. Craig

  • Re: Controling none B&O linear turntable via beomaster??

Cannot see there been any way of doing what you want. Not unless you could somehow fit the internals from a Beogram. Although at that point you might as well just get a Beogram. Craig

  • Re: Beovox C75

NoBit: Just a question, the upper drive has a foam suspension and the lower a rubber suspension; is this right? When I got some off Ebay a few years back they were exactly as you described. One foam surround Driver and another with a rubber surround. My thought was that someone had fitted CX50/100 Drivers at some stage. Craig

  • Re: Used BeoSound 9000 - Good Deal?

joeyboygolf: I am reliably informed that their are only 2 people in Struer who know how to build these things. When they are both off sick together, the job stops. What are the chances for a service engineer???? Now I do hope that is true, it is one of those wonderful facts. Craig

  • Re: Buying a pair of B&O headphones, What do you recommend?

Peter: I find Form 2s uncomfortable as the headband rests on your head Now I find that Form 2's can get uncomfortable but not from the headband, I find thay seem to press on your ear after a while. Saying that though I use mine almost daily. Craig
