I got confirmation from my dealer that this was feasible on older BV7.

grieg007: I have a BV7-32 (updated with STB control codes for AppleTV). How much did it cost you to have it updated?

I just came up with an idea that I have not tested yet. I have a lintronic box and a Beovision 7 with a STB-C. If I have a device (let's call it device A) not supported by the STB-C, I can configure the Lintronic to convert Beo4 codes to the code of the new device. It works well, but the problem is that it will not work from link room and you cannot

Munin: ... but what can be done with all the fingerprints ... Like the Beolink 7000, just do not clean it for a while. It is not as bad as it sounds, but when the grease spreads evenly on the screen, the fingerprint do not show anymore - and no, the remote does not look like it is covered in grease...

eduard: I have the Beo-5 just for one day, so forgive me if I made the wrong answer. As far I can see, I can not change anything (please correct me If I am wrong) on the Beo-5, you really need a SW on your computer...to change the setting ore other things.... There is a hidden menu that allow hiding and showing buttons, but only the ones that have been

I actually think the answer is yes, but only if the speaker in the main room are connected directly to the BS4, not on the TV. Same for Beocenter 2 p.

joeyboygolf: The guys who are desparate for the configuration software just want to play with it. Yes you are right, I'd love to PLAY with it, and I mentioned it in this same thread before, and so did other members wtlc2zpx: Also, being geeky, I think half of the fun with this remote is the configuration bit.
-
eduard: A dealer will conf. your Beo-5..... and why do you want to do this...? If you ask what you want then there is no problemo! Good luck! To avoid a trip to the dealer everytime you modify your setup. Some dealer will charge for the configuration.
