Alex: Standard Definition picture is fantastic! More of the same upscaling you see in the BeoSystem 3.... You had fun, then, in the store! I liked that TV from the first moment I saw it. Also really appreciate its expressive styling, particularly on the floor stand. Pure sculpture when seen from the side and straight on. Very good and bright screen

Beo: well, let's stop this discussion... if there is any chinese in this forum, i hope we should not continue this topic.. the reason is ... why do they only write in chinese for the "made in Austria". Everyone knows if B&O wanna let all know, they should write in english. But now... it is written in chinese. why? because only chinese

eduard: soundproof: Kevin: Anyone bringing the gear to connect to the internet with them? We could upload to photobucket or some such and publish on a thread the days events every evening. The Grand has Ethernet connectors with free Internet access in all the rooms. Do the rooms have also a computer????? No, just the Ethernet cable with standard connector

DiaBandO: I have had the opertunity to compare the BL 8000 with BL2 and the BL9 without the BL2. BL 9 had more clarity and te bass is much more precise. With the BL 9 you do not need a BL2, not with listening music and not with watching movies (I saw a demonstration of Pirates of the Caribbean 2 on the BV 9 with BL9 as front spaekers and BL3 as rears

TWG: So why did B&O print "Made in Koprivnice." with a chinese label? Are they ashamed to print it readable on their products? Because they sell quite a lot of products to wealthy Chinese. And it is readable in other languages, depending upon where you bought your unit. Quite a few high-end audiophile manufacturers are getting their production

jandyt: By the way, anyone know how to pronounce Gitte? Andy T. GITT-eh

tom: after all i have read, one thing is sure. i will not buy a new beovison until b&o has jumpted on the blue ray/ hd-dvd train! Which means you'll have to wait until one of those trains slams off the tracks. At present, both parties are claiming they are in the lead with their formats, but both are also far off their sales targets as consumers

Justin: It seems clear that we're expecting an updated BV7, with 1080p - and some sort of Beosystem3. What about the outdated DVD? Will we see a recordable DVD added? What about HD DVD? Presumably lack of HDMI sockets will be sorted when it gets a Beosystem added. Not sure what is actually known (do we know anything until launch?) and what is speculation

tacobavaria: I dont't care what is in, as long as it performs well and lasts. Funny thing for me: Some complain about B&O sound, speaking about frequency ranges from 20 to 25.000 neglecting (rigth word??) the fact that most of us can only hear from 50 - 20.000 or even less. Finally they want to hook up iPods which use 100 - 15.000 Hz... He-he
