Is the BS4000 connected to the BS9000? You may be able if the BS4000 can be set in option 6 (link room) to listen to N.MUSIC from the BS4000 as well.

The Beosound 4000 is not compatible with Beoport. The only one that support it are Beosound 3000 (with sw update) and 3200. See: http://www.bang-olufsen.com/page.asp?id=149#516_42925 Depending on your setup there there seem to be ways around this limitation and with some quirks. Have you got a Beovision? p.

No you cannot... you can only configure the List button. If you use N.MUSIC a lot you can place N.MUSIC first in the list.

I think it does, and starts iTunes...

If you select N.MUSIC from the menu on the Beomedia it remains a video source, as something is displayed. If you select N.MUSIC from the remote, then it is an audio source as no picture is displayed. p.

It is a great TV indeed. One of the issue is that you may be limited to the number of external sources you connect to it. You can use an AVX2 to get an extra source. There is basically an older model, which is 2 way and works with the Master panel AV 9000. There is a newer model, which is 1 way and works with the Ouverture or any Master Link hifi. p

For the channel logos, the idea is to create one menu per groups: General Interest channels: BBC1,2, Channel4,... Wheater: ... News: .... Music: ... So when you want to choose a channel you click on DTV, Channel, Music, MTV Another suggestion is to create groups per person in the family. p.

I was wondering if there has been several version of the Beomedia1. In other word, if I am buying a second hand one, will I get the same exact specs as the current version.
