Having seen an Avant very recently next to a 32" BeoVision 7 (both playing a DVD), the picture on the Avant is currently far superior. Not sure about the BeoSystem 3 based one yet (haven't yet seen it), but the other BeoSystem

I'm not sure the OP would want to spend as much as Pentas at the front and 8000s at the back. Nonetheless, if he wants to, that's fair enough. My only worry is that the CX100 may struggle to keep up with a pair of Pentas either side. Chris (forum name medogsfat) would be able to tell you though, as I believe he uses a similar setup.

I presume you mean Boot Camp? You can do this already with Tiger, but it involves downloading the app. It will be included with Leopard, that's the only difference.

Yes, you do. There's a pair of BeoLab 4500s on ebay.com right now They will do a fantastic job. Alternatively, the other options include BeoLab 5000, BeoLab 4000, BeoLab 6000, BeoLab 8000, and BeoLab Penta (mk2 and 3). I wouldn't really want to go with BeoLab 1s, 3s, 9s or 5s as I feel they wouldn't match the CX100 as a centre channel very well. You
