PS: How do you know my BV10 is MK2? Serial #?
The 4 digit "Type Number" tells a lot.
What's the difference between MK1 and 2?
Main difference is the 3rd HDMI input.

  • Re: Beosound Century to mp3

    You can either buy the original B&O "Cable 7pin DIN/JACK, 3m" item # 6277956 for approx EUR 15 from your B&O dealer or order, as already suggested, a cable from "Sounds Heavenly"
So ensuring proper encryption (WPA2-PSK) with long encryption key (pre shared key) is the way to go ...
YES! But, if every possible password / encryption key is tried, sooner or later yours will be found ... The only question is: Will that be too soon . . . or enough later ?
How do you configure a preset to use decoder?
As far as I remember in the tuning "menu" that is displayed after pressing "goto". Pressing "shift" and then "picture" will change "dec off" to "dec on" - you'll have to store the change in the usual way

    A professional installer told me, that, from his point of view, there are some very good reasons to use a separate router and a separate TCP/IP subnet when installing a (WiFi) network for B&O. - no additional B&O related data traffic in the existing network of the customer - no data traffic caused by other activities of the customer in the B&O

  • Re: Electrostatic noise when touching the speaker cables

    The HF-Link-Amp is only needed to distribute (analogue - standard definition) video - Audio is distributed by MasterLink. You wrote "... I have a brilliant picture on my BV3-32, AV5 and AV9000 ..." If there are no other reasons, I'd stay with the obviously working "no name" amp. The main purpose of the B&O HF-Modulation-Amp

  • Re: Electrostatic noise when touching the speaker cables

    B&O is offering a professional & high quality galvanic separator (wall mountable, with grounding lug) for approx 35-40 EUR, item #8039004 If you distribute video sources in standard definition, you might also consider the B&O HF Link-Amplifier item #1405366, which, by the way, is needed for all recent types of B&O TVs to distribute video

  • Re: A.opt 0
If I connect the audio master (for exemple a Besound Overture) to a Beovision and put it in a.opt 0 will it still be the audio master? If not, is it then also possible to connect a Beoport in opt.0 to the Beovision and controll everything via the Beovision and thereby distribute n.music to link rooms?
@1 YES -
