Following your instructions, I simply put the assembly in the vice and used two small penknives to prise both sides upwards at the same time. Hi, I would recheck the connections to the stereo jack plug. I think that the inner connection, nearest the plastic, should be the ground and the outer two connections are for the two channels. If you have the ground on the outer connection you will only get one channel. Regards GR
