If it's an original and if you have very good eyesight and/or a magnifying glass, there will be an eight digit serial number sticker underneath the earpiece. If you want to use BeoSound 9000 by remote without a powerlink connection you cannot simply option proramme it to option 1 or option2, as it will not be accepted.
