Check the number of danish homes that had a BeoVision in their living room in 1990. And check this number again nowadays. You'll know where B&O is going..

When is the next update for Linkplayer? The last one goes back to 5th August, and there are still some display issues on BeoCenter 2 for NRADIO, as well as playback issues (track sequence) with Linkmusic.

Looks like the BeoPlayer app with 10,000 + radio stations won't be free...kinda strange, when Itunes makes it possible to add any radio station to it, with BMLInk also offering this feature for free..

BS8 tech specs rate the frequency response at 38 Hz...that's as low as BL1 or PentaLabs...marketing seduction or true specs?? Seriously, as said in another post, I find it great that they use the USB input to make it work as a computer loudspeaker, but since you can't control anything via USB, why would people buy a BeoSound 8 when they can
-
I don't really understand how people are going to use BeoSound 8: it is basically an active stereo loudspeaker with VERY limited remote control features: step up/down, volume up/down, and play/pause, and just one source: NMUSIC (which, believe it or not, is activated on Beo4 or Beo5 by pressing ...NRADIO?!). If you are going to stream your music

Besides, if they sounded like BL3, they'd cost at least EUR 3,000.. If they sound like BL4, I'll be very happy already; however, like Guy, I find the looks quite similar to a Mickey Mouse head in my living room.

BeoLab 2000 is more robust and compact than BeoLab 3500, so it would be the ideal choice for a kitchen or bathroom (I have one in the bathroom); as others said, it is also much cheaper and has source, volume & step controls on it.

I use X Recode and it also works like a charm, I had a few albums in wav format and they were converted both to ALAC and WMALossless without any problem.

How do you set the option on your BC9000? Via direct controls or with Beo4? I would suggest Beo4, maybe not all your keys work anymore on the BeoCenter, who knows. Press std-by+list simultaneously, press list until you see "option", then "a.opt", then the option you want (1,2 or 6 for BC9000), and it should work. As for the volume
