After CRT I personally think Plasma offers the best performance. Not to mention bang for your buck right now. The Panasonic Professional plasmas are a great value and integrate well with the BS3, although I know many people are partial to Pioneer. However, if they are still offering the discounted, Non-DVD version of the BV7-40 then I would spring for

I think there is a bit of performance vs. quality. It depends on what you need or want most. I love having my BV4 at home but when it comes to critical monitoring only my Sony Professional CRT Reference monitor at my studio would work. Likewise, my Avant will outperform almost any other consumer TV in terms of performance. Brightness, contrast and black

Apparently I spoke too soon as I discovered the Content editor in my profile settings were set to "Plain Text" Thanks.

I've noticed that, at some point since we've switched to the new Forum software, my posts will not format text properly. For example if I hit "return" to begin a new paragraph it will show up properly in the compose window but will not translate to the preview or the forum when I post. I had about 600-700 in school but I've been doing Digital for so long I have no idea what I have album-wise. Most of my CDs are in storage while (whilst) I listen to their digital counterparts. A more appropriate question may be "how many songs do you have?" as, sadly, I rarely buy 'complete' albums anymore. I'd suspect that

[quote user="avus17"] Hi Peter, thank you for the answer at the BW forum. My factory setings for BV7 32" type 9311 in the Scaler menu 1 are the same: brightness 15, colour 23, contrast 50 and scaler contrast 136 as it should be. But I have problems that my TV dimes dark scenes of the films (cable TV) and DVDs very much and the picture

If you are concerned about running another 20m cable then just get a power link cable splitter and then another powerlink cable that is long enough to reach the second speaker from the first. Make sure that each speaker's left/right settings are correct and you should be fine.
