Hi Peter, I'm regularly in Derby, as one of my suppliers is based here (I'm writing this message from Derby city centre!) Feel free to send me a PM if you would like me to collect anything for you (please let me know the size/weight!) Best regards, Steve.

No reason why you have to buy it from within the US...... Steve.

Hi dls, That's not a stupid question, I get asked this regularly! The problem is that your Panasonic TV does not alter the volume of the audio output sockets when you change the volume on the remote control. This is common to most modern TV's. As the TV always gives out sound at maximum volume and the Beolab speakers do not have a volume control

Christian, Yes, this is correct - the mark 2 cables required for Beolab 5 will NOT have triangles marked on them. They will be fairly thick cables (typically 4 to 5mm thick for good quality cables). Happy Birthday Lee! Hope you have a great Christmas break (and don't spend the whole holiday at work!) Cheers, Steve.

No, I (reluctantly) ceiling-mounted some 6000's upside-down for a customer a few months ago, but I never thought to get a picture. 8000's would probably work better, but even then I'm not too sure about the end result! Steve.

Yes, there are several options:- 1) If you have a separate pre-amp and power amp, then it is easy - just remove the power amplifier and connect the Beolab speakers directly to the RCA sockets marked "pre-out" on the pre-amp. Set the speakers to "Line" using the switches underneath and use the RCA input

ajames: I might be wrong, but I think the 9000 being the first in that range wasn't equipped with Powerlink Sockets so the beolab range wouldn;t work easily. Best bet if that's the case may well be Beovox Penta. Good point ajames. Another option is to use attenuated speaker cables to drive any active Beolab speaker that has a line input from
