I agree with Alex here. B&O's current range of plasmas are truly fantastic. BV4 is a stunning picture with thanks to BeoSystem 3. Even on a poorer quality source the BeoSystem 3 greatly improves the picture. I'm surprised we haven't had any photos or even photoshops of the new BeoMaster 5 here on BeoWorld seeing as its release date is supposedly very soon. Usually we manage to find something ... somehow. I am very curious to see what it looks like and to learn more about its functions.

mbee: At that price, go for the used Beolab 5. An argument is that once you will have the best, you will not look for upgrading your speakers for a long time... If you go for 9's, you will quickly start thinking again "why not upgrading to 5's?"... Yep good point. So our BeoWorld recommendation is a pair of BL5s and a BV9!

I agree with Tom about the BL5s, although I suppose this is still possible. My guess would be BL9s seeing as there is a speaker trend going on.

Enjoy your new toy Sal! The connections weren't an issue for my BV8 in the end. I use the ML and the HDMI for HD movies via PS3. When will all channels on SKY be HD?
