Hello All I have currently got lab 6000's as rears and do not like these on the floor. my current setup is below: My choices are wall mount the 6000's as rears, future maybe add more 6000's for 7.1 or Px or swap the 6000's for 4000's and wall mount them at the celing height. Stefan you beat me to it. Lintronic all the way for automation, perhaps some of your devices have two HDMI outputs or a HDMI IR switch box that the lintronic could activate, this of course would not help if your content is an internal tv device like the Freeview receiver.

No what i have is Apple tv and i control this currently with an Ipod touch using the remote app i would love to install the remote app on my pc somehow

hi there so from what you have said i understnad that the tv will take the 5.1 and use all 7.1 which is what i really wanted to know anyway. I think i will borrow some lab 4000 to see how this sounds and then maybe maybe move to 7.1

Hello All Without stiring up an argument. I have 5.1 speakers connected to my BV7. If i connect the extra two giving me 7.1 will i notice any difference if im watching a 5.1 film? Does the BS3 do anything clever with the extra channels if the 2 extra pcm channels are not present in the bluray for example? Cheers All

Funny enough the dealer went back to his shop and tried to update his BV7 and had the same error. Turns out it was the serial cable as via USB convertor it worked perfectly I now have AST menu and ML delay has been switched on and i have no echo with my link room. My DST module is now up to date with the rest of the build. One thing i did notice is
