    Maybe you have sorted it out, but anyway: When connecting your DVD over PrPbY (component signal) to the BV8 you should take the digital sound from your DVD to one of the two SPDIF inputs you have on the BV 8-40. The SPDIF inputs are named A1 and A2 and are Phono sockets. They are freely configurable for AV 1 to 4. If your DVD has Toslink (opto) out

    I experience a quite annoying sporadic noise that probably comes from the cabinet. It´s easily described as a "small plastic sounding crack noice", similar that I recall one could hear from the plastic cabinet movements when the old CRT TV:s got warm. It sometimes appear quite soon after switching on the set, and sometimes after like

    What I hear from my dealer is that Gefen have a nwe epander (GTB-MHDM1.3-441). Its less expensive than the older one. It can be controlled by the same PUC according to my dealer. Swedish price is around 270 Euro. http://www.gefen.eu/cosmoshop/artikelpdf/gtb-mhdmi1.3-441_e.pdf

    Hi, Looks like you have planned for a very nice installation. Congratulations. My dealer preloaded the PUC I needed for the Bluray, cable box etc. An installation team of two persons did the installation including cabling to the 3:rd party equipment.
