I spent some of my weekend sorting out a wireless media streamer (Netgear MP101, bought for a song from eBay) but I have no knowledge of the Airport Express. I found that wireless was a bit flaky for me (kept dropping the connection) , so am using a pair of Homeplug/Poweline adapters, one plugged into the wireless router, and the other into the media

If you can view any cable channels on your TV then the TV is set up correctly. If there are certain cable channels that you have paid for but cannot get then this will be an issue around how your account is set up and you will need to take this up with your cable TV company as they are the only people who will be able to help you. The only exception

My only worry would be whether the RIAA pre-amp is missing

The products section on this site implies that they must have had an RIAA amplifier in the tuntable or the amp as the 2400 and the Beogram 4004 were sold together, but from the description of the problem it does appear that there isn't one. Simon

Puncher It's a very difficult question to answer as illegal MP3 use is almost by definition untrackable, but I have read that 80% + of music downloads are illegal ones. I suspect age is an issue here too! Almost all of my MP3 music is either ripped from CD's or bought from Amazon when the MP3 download has been the cheaper option, but I suspect

If you are getting the same results from the phono and tape sockets it means that your amplifier must be expecting line-level inputs for phono whech is at a higher level than the turntable is producing, which means you need one of these: http://www.lifestyle-av.co.uk/details.asp?sectionId=4&productId=2972 Simon
