Have a second look at the Beolab3's. They will not over power your other speakers, you can easily raise or lower their dominance. As surround sound progresses you will be thankful of having the additional oomph.. beoaus.

Link frequency would need to be turned to permanently on which may be your first issue. If you don't have the setting ML is the only way to turn it on. From there the default link frequency is generally 599 which is what I would start with rather than 601.You can then tune the frequency to a channel. I would lookinto ML and Beolink Video. That way

Great Deck. Try tracking to half way through the record and see if the problem happens again, turn the deck off etc. Even move the arm backwards and forwards a few times, you don't need a record on to do this. It could be that the arm is not tracking at the correct speed, the caps have gone.... A myriad of strange problems can be fixed with the

My BG6000 plays rather loud at line level. Certainly louder than the BG4500 or the BG1202 both with internal RIAA's. Are you sure the module has not been removed?

The powerlink barrel adapter is also available from ebay, generally in the USA. There is a female to female DIN connector available from Maplins or Radioparts (Aus) beoaus.
