Stick with it Ian. I only got mine yesterday and it is taking getting used to but its a wonderful product in true B&O style trust me. I am really beginning to realise the potential of this device. Its great in the dark too! Simon.

You are using a Mark II or the recently released Mark III BV-7 I assume? And, a 40 inch screen I am guessing? If not, then you might not have an HD ready TV. If you have the Mark I then you don't. If you have a Mark II then you can view HD via DVI at 720p, if you have the Mark III then you can view HD at 1080p. The latter version is the one I have

Thanks for all comments so far. I will refrain from buying the PS3 and wait for the updated DVD player for my BV7-40. If I were a game player then I might be very slightly tempted but to read people's comments that HD content on many disks is not any better than SD content, well, that says it all I think! It is becomming clearer to me all the time

Thanks Andy and Peter. Andy, I will try what you suggest tomorrow when I get a chance to plug it to my laptop, download the software and play around for a bit. Thanks for the info. Peter, it was all a bit of a rush, I only ordered it on Friday and it was delivered with my TV on Tuesday, so the poor guy at the shop only had Monday to program it for me

Guess I am on the look out for one again! Cheers to you all. Simon. PS Lee, I am in the market for an LC2 again if you still have one. Will PM you as well in

Not really a game player although some old arcade games like Point Blanc (target shooting) by Namco did interest me. Also the classics like Pac Man, Galaxians, Asteroids, Missile Control, Space Invaders etc although these are all available using MAME (Multiple Arcade Machine Emulator - see http://www.emulator-zone.com/doc.php/arcade/mame.html ) so again

Remote was delivered along with the new TV (BeoVision 7-40 Mark III). I haven't got a clue how to use it! I take it out of the charger, it says on the screen 'Lounge.' What do I do next? I pressed every button on it but not one of them responded. What is the very first thing you need to press or do? Apparently it has been programmed with

Well done Tom! You did the right thing to propose early. Clearly, your fiancee had the 'BeoVision' to know she wanted to spend the rest of her life with YOU! 3 BeoCheers! Simon.
