The BL8000 sure look better next to the BS9000 than the BL9, but I would prefer the BL9, because of their sound. Can't be compared to BL8000, it's another league!

AFAIK, this is only scheduled for April 2009.

I have to join Peter here, because the BL5 or 9 would suit the BV9's center-speaker best. If you don't want to go all ALT, BL4000 or 6000 would be a great choice. I have BL7-1 as center and BL8000 as fronts, and the BL6000 do the job of rears very well.

I was in the same situation you are in now 2 years ago. Only that I am more a music guy, but I watch a lot of movies on my BV7 too. I went for the BL8000. I found the surround effect much more impressing than the woof effect of a BL2, and I compared them for about a week each. The difference is that I have a BL7-1, that offers a good bass for movies
