Anyone know where I can get hold of one of these templates for adjusting the Beogram 4000? I'd like to have one. Is it downloadable? Can it be ordered anywhere (I'm guessing not.) I can always make one on the basis of the manual, but it would be nice to see "the original." To be used like this:

I have a listening room with BL5s in front, configured so that they generate a phantom center channel, and with BL3s as my rear speakers, for surround and multichannel music. To be perfectly honest, the BL3s are a little overkill when used in this manner - you can get excellent results with BL4000s; but I thought it made sense to have acoustic lenses

If you look at the fact sheet at the L5 Remote site, at the bottom you will find a question from a B&O owner who then proceeds to control his equipment with this universal remote for the iPod Touch and iPhone. He confirms that he has no trouble in IOS4. As I understand it, they've added all the B&O codes to the device, controllable from

Strange to think that not long afterwards they pulled this out of their hat, as they responded to criticism of their curlicued woodcraft. http://www.radiomuseum.org/r/bang_hyperbo_5rgs5_rg.html I believe they are quite rare with the record player. But I do not see an immediate need for one in my future. The RGS5, however ... one came up for sale here

Not exactly Hyperbo design, but little doubt that B&O were serious about premium quality. http://www.finn.no/finn/torget/tilsalgs/annonse?finnkode=25210408 I guess even the museum in Struer should be interested?

Yes. A little optimistic on the price. Of course, we shouldn't complain when the market responds to our enthusiasm for these ... He's declined an offer for 1000, and there's another for 3000.

Another Beogram 3000 turned up on www.dba.dk - this one has had some refurbishment done, works well, stylus OK - a crack in the lid. http://www.dba.dk/pladespiller-thorens-beogram/id-69490642/ They're calling it a Beogram 3500, but I take it that's a mistake.

Sorry, Electrified. I don't buy your position on this at all. You have arrived at a conclusion as to what constitutes good sound, to you, and now you're mystified that the entire world isn't on board with you. That's something you'll never experience - listening preferences are simply too diverse. You may also actually find reading

Here we agree. In fact, to achieve the most accurate reproduction possible, you should: 1. Get hold of 24/96 studiomasters. This is now possible from a variety of places. 2. Play these from, for instance, a DAW-enabled Mac through a studio-quality soundcard. 3. To a pair of active studio monitors. 4. Which you listen to in near-field. You would then
