As being a Tandberg fan, what is BM1600 Tandberg Type? I have seen this reference somewhere before and couldn't find any info about that!

I bought a B&O ambiophonic adaptor from eBay for striking price of £10.50. As far as I know this is a very simple method of creating "surround" sound from stereo by adding two rear speakers in reversed phase. All info on Beoworld and Beocentral is pretty basic. Was there any sort of manual or description available for this unit or

In Beocenter 9000s the Datalink support is indicated by a sticker on the rear panel. In my case there is the Datalink sticker but no software version, perhaps the original models (without Datalink) have software version sticker and after update it's replaced by the Datalink sticker?

I have no experince on these speakers nor have I studied the schematics of the crossover but this resistor in one of your photos looks a bit strange (like it had some sort of foam on it); perhaps worth checking further?

Hi Menahem. Thanks for checking. After the last post I have bought a working stereo decoder from Frede (thanks again!) and it's now installed and working. Sorry for not mentioning it here. The Stereomaster is not in use at the moment, but safely in storage waiting for a proper time and place. (I am at work now, and have a complete 5000 system here

I had never thought of this - what a great idea. In cases like Avants with tubes dead (and no more replacements available) any replacement panel would be marvelous item. I wouldn't think of scrapping the tube out of a working set but with sets with bad tubes (like a Beovision MX3000s, tubes are told to loose their emission very quickly in these

It would be easier if all product pages had a link to the manuals available for the model. As there are now "Related Products" and "Related Articles" there could be a "Related manuals" section. If the list of available manuals would be shown on the product page, it would help the ones considering of joining as a silver
