It is probably a function of slow internet. To mitigate this somewhat, try adjusting the buffer time in N.Radio Config in Beoplayer. 10%

As a quick comparison, this is what I got when seeding Ziggy Stardust. I did not listen to it for musical similarity and of course, I will have a number of completely different albums to Puncher (and visa versa). 1 Ziggy Stardust David Bowie 2 Gap The Kooks 3 Rock & Roll Suicide David Bowie 4 Nikita Elton John 5 She's Only 18 Red Hot Chili Peppers

I sigh! I feel I’m now too old to really know what is what. Gaw’d – I’m just like my parents were 20 years ago. I mean, look at the specs…of this Loewe compared to my BV7-40:- LO B&O LCD size 52 40 Cant fit anything bigger than a 42" in my lounge Built-in HD Recorder Yes No If I watch Sky - too many repeats -
But you won't have mots (only supported together with a Beosound 5)
I am not confident that this statement is correct. Although I'm not going to re-wire my BS/BM5 to test but the Beo5 can engage MOT's via remote. It would stand to reason it could do this with or without the BS5. 10%

HVD, I'm currently listing to the BBC World Service in SE Asia. It's really great and clear. The BeoPlayer 5.00 as far as I can ascertain has limited functionality in terms of programming the BS5. It's all done with the BS5 itself by pressing/holding the << >> Go and ring. Are you currently and constantly connected to the internet

I think it is great that B&O are opening up to Beoworld and allowing us to contribute. Well done Lee. However, I must confest that I am a little cycnical over the product they have chosen to do this - that is unless B&O intent to do this with all their new product releases. Then it really will be a major step forward. Damn-right impressive indeed
-
My top three would be as follows and stand for the epitome of what B&O is about:- BeoLab 5. A unique solution to loudspeakers. World Class BeoSound 1 A different solution for “portable” and sound quality. Useful machine. Beo4 A simple remote which sets the standard for B&O quality and a remote all others are measured by. There are
OH, I HAVE NEVER GOT SO MANY STUPID ANSWERS, THANK U ALL SO MUCH!
Avus, I think you should have a little more sense of humour. I'm sure none of the posts below are intended to insult you. I think the reality is that none of the forum members have any clue as to the form factor, the price, or availablility
-
Well I was prepared to pay the price and actually got one. That said, I think it is the first B&O product that I have considered to be expensive and the price pitch for where it is - is very top-end. Now dont get me wrong. Provided you you dont want one just to play with every combination to see what it can do, play very high quality digitial music
-
yes...the sound quality! The difference between BeoPort and the BM/BS5 is simply incomparable. If you want to listen through your PC soundcard and mini-jack, then fine. Beoport does offer a good value way of doing this and integrating into your B&O system. I have just relinquished my BC2 and had to use the Beoport and my noisy PC for a couple of
