You may be missing my point... Can you confirm that you are connecting the MCL cable from the DIN socket in the LCS9000 which should split into two cables with 3 pin speaker type plugs at the end which plug into the Beomaster speaker outlet sockets ?

Peter, If you cannot register the handset, then you will not be able to make or receive calls. If you try and register the handset and it wants a password and the normal 0000 does not work then it almost certainly means you already have six handsets registered to the base. You will need to unregister a phone or reset the unit. Not sure able the weird

The LCS9000 does not have a Powerlink socket !! It does have a Din socket for MCL (Master Control Link) and hidden behind a black plug is also a Masterlink socket The MCL cable pluged into the LCS9000 would have two three pin speaker type plugs the other end which are connected to the Beomaster 7000

Sparks, The Beo5/6 CAN control this product. I looked on their web site and they provide HEX pronto codes which can be converted. These codes convert to NEC 32 bit protocol. I have converted the codes defined as " SPL Ultra Series " and produced an XML file for you to test. You can download it HERE
