When you look at the new audio system how it was described in the last years financial report it said that it links to an Ipod or a Beosound 5 system. I 2nd the 2 way remote, but I am thinking they first should spend some time gather feedback what people really want from a BS5. For example, MOTS within category to filter out holiday themed songs and

Well He just sold one to me at that time so .... I guess new model and backpiled demand for something sub 10k. At Ed, the BV8 runs here for 2900$ plus tax as a special (since a year or so). It is by B&O standards a super bargain I guess. I am happy with it even at the 4000$ level where I bought it.

Yes it is sad, I know smaller TVs don't sell so well for them. I am just not getting why that is, why does everybody want a big TV? To me TV doesn't play that much of a role and I don't want it to take over my living room. Is not that I don't like big screens but I am guessing I am more of a projector person for that since you can hide

The delay in the audio system is a bummer even though it probably won't be for me. I don't see how that goes along with increasing the speed of product development .... it feels to me that so far not much came out of that. JK

I figured this would happen, for the US adds for the BV8 32 they said "as long as supplies last" Well I am happy I got mine, back to just large TVs for the US. JK

I would think they add that with the same speed as they adopted blueray, so few years. I have glasses and sat through Avatar at my regular cinema and it wasn't too bad but not sure this will be my preferred way of watching all my movies. Frankly, I wouldn't worry about 3D until another 5 years. JK

I just send you a PM .....

I recall about a year back this came up here but then later they decided not to release a consumer version. Thing is, even if they would do 1st thing I'd start complaining that it doesn't run on a MAC. JK

>>It would be interesting, nonetheless, to visit the BeoCom 5 production lines in Denmark, don't you think?<< They still do have some operations in Denmark that are used for testing and product development. That said, I know some do not favor the move east however as times and market environment changes they need to make many uncomfortable
-
>>Seems many dealers are still allergic to these concepts, however.<< I am thinking because it pushes them out of their comfort zone. If I look at myself, suddenly the question is not how many HDMIs does that thing have but how big of a construction job will it be and how can it look once it's done.
