One of my favourite reviews is the Aston Martin Vantage V12 - not my favourite Aston mind but the "review" is stunning - all set to the full blown, Eno's "An Ending - (Ascent)" - one of favourite tracks of all time, mentioned many times in different threads here on Beoworld ................... enjoy - Apart from the "comedy"
They have been taught to pay a lot of lip service to quality, which confuses some people, but not to actually seek it out and pay the premium required to obtain it.
That presupposes that all of the price upper goes into higher quality. This isn't always the case.

We have had the "are the TV's worth the asking price" argument many times, some getting quite heated at times - I believe certain folk stopped frequenting the forum because of the barracking they took for questioning the price of TV's. Its seems the time has arrived when the company has finally acknowledged there is no future in charging
You've convinced me - I clearly need one of these!
I can only quote your own advice - "don't listen to others, listen to the equipment!"

I take it that you know the manufactured cost of the BS3 then, are you willing to share it with us?
Of course I do. All dealers know it. But I don't need to share it. I don't believe that you're unsophisticated enough to think that anyone is pocketing untoward
"fully featured" and "compelling strategic price" are somewhat vague. The BeoSystem 3 costs nearly $8,000US and that's a very fully featured high-performance processor. Arguably one of the most fully featured single units on the market. But how much could we really depress the price? There
-

Yes, Vince has a point. I feel like most people would be buying an external a/v processor for its competencies rather than integration.
They're really one in the same. People want to consolidate the video experience and these days they want to integrate their house to varying

I'm really happy that they see a long term future in audio and acoustics - always their core business in my eyes. I don't see them winning in the digital TV field in the long term. A solid range of audio product from the ground up from audio masters to the Lab5's and their successors is where they can innovate and win. Selling other people's
