If only; my English is appalling! I was dreadful at school; I am sure my long suffering teacher despaired of me. I also have a tendency to write as if Caesar, with far too many sub-clauses. The people who really impress me are those non English speakers who post word perfect threads.

I am very pleased to say that I am not a post modernist - I believe in logic and science, and I believe Electrified argues from a logical standpoint that is easy to understand. Not very pretty, mind you, and not prone to taking prisoners. Perhaps my more genteel approach might be seen to have some advantages? Either way, I am pleased that the general

I collect fountain pens (take up less space than my old B&O collection, now dispersed!) and indeed received a wonderful Conway Stewart 288 from a very good friend this Christmas. Quite an interesting analogy

Looks very good - best of luck!

The Beomaster can have a sticking speaker 1 relay. They are perfectly easy to test with a pair of headphones! At 150 (? $ or £) it will be a bargain.

At a guess, they don't have any 2 pin DIN speaker plugs. Always assume, however, that "not tested" means broken!
