I have never listened to S75s, nor have I listened to a BM4400. However, I have two pairs of M70s, a pair of S45-2s, a pair of S40s, a BM4000, a BM2400, and a BM1900. I primarily listen to classic rock LPs with the BM4000, and prefer my refurbished pair of M70s to the S45-2s and S40s. I listen in a fairly large room, though. In a smaller room I like
