And on a related note, have some of you found the BL2 to be too much base for a small room?

I agree the wall mount takes away from the BL8000 design. The BL6000 looks really good on the wall mount but the BL8000 belongs on the floor!

Any ideas from folks who prefer the BL4000?

I have a dilemma and I haven't had a chance to do a listening test as I don't have the BL4000s yet. Currently I have 2 setups, one is with my surround setup using a BS1 and 4 BL6000s as surround speakers. My center is a pair of BL3s (yes, a pair of them, and it sounds fine, discussed this in a separate thread). I was using a pair of them as

Well I can tell you if I didn't have a room right behind my TV to stuff my BS1 in, I would have something else because it is a tank! I got it relatively cheap (500 with remote). I'm waiting for the BS4 so that BS3 prices can come down, as I don't plan on ever owning a B&O TV...

Well I got mine a few wks ago for almost "free!" Picked up an ebay BS9000 plus BL3 pair of speakers for just a bit over what the pair of BL3 could be sold for. BS9000 came in the original box, Beo4 remote, and was the MKIII version! BL3s came with floor stands! All worked and arrived perfect!

It would seem that even an older second-hand or refurbished mac mini would be a much better value than the Apple TV. Is there any downside to that? Also, it seems that you would solve a lot of the limitations of the Apple TV that way.
