koning: @Soundproof have you connected them to another brand (non B&O) Yes. I have connected BL5s to a 30GB iPod; to the Airport Express; and to a variety of stand-alone CD-players with digital out. Favourite Disc player: http://www.linn.co.uk/music_systems_unidisk_sc# The Airport Express connection was interesting. I had the music in uncompressed

einare: Just a quick note for those who have the same problem: I got a technician to take a look and update both speakers to the latest software version, but it does not work. The problem seems to be that the older one of the speakers is "Mac 1" and the other one is "Mac 2", two different generations and the Mac 1 cannot be upgraded

Try another CD. My Beogram CD 6500 can be temperamental with certain newer CDs. (Particularly the hybrid ones with SACD/CD - sometimes they'll play, at other times not). Once, when it wouldn't play a selection of CDs, I opened it up, cleaned the laser lens and had it going again no problems.

Razlaw: If the AB amplifiers sound better than the the ICE in the mid and uppers, why do the 5s use ICE for everything? Well, the BL5s came first, and were the first to fully utilize the later revision ICEpower amp's. Could be that the experiences with that took them to the decision they made with the 9s. ICEpower amp's deliver amazing power at a minimum of heat produced

ChrisS: Don't want to shatter too many people's dreams but most Nokia phones are now made in China, as are a lot of Sony products. But how many of you know that if you drive a Jeep Cherokee, BMW X3 or Chrysler Voyager it was built in Austria by a company called Magna Steyr (they also manufacture some low volume models for VW, Mercedes and Saab

DavidStewart: Hi all, Could you give me some advice please. I was in my local branch of B&O at the weekend (great service) and have been sold on the Beosound 9000 and the Beolab 4000 speakers. I am limited really in the speakers as the other half wants them to be wall mounted. I was just looking for some opinions (or other possible options) on the

jk1002: >>There's something different with an audio CD that makes me still want to buy them<< I think music we tend to hear more then once and even go back after years. A movie is usually seen once, maybe twice if at all. I used to buy all my DVDs but realized that probably only 10 or so are really worth buying in a year if at all. I
