  • New product info

This was in the financial statement, released yesterday: "The Group will launch a new loudspeaker, BeoLab 10, for large screen TVs in the fourth quarter. The fourth quarter will also see the launch of new patented picture calibration technology, which will further differentiate the company’s plasma TV portfolio. Work on a new groundbreaking

355f: well thats the point- yes it has scart but if the bs3 does the upscaling one does not need hdmi to connect the bs2. But the signal will deteriorate via SCART, before the BS3 gets the change to upscale effectively. Have you ever seen the difference with Sky HD through SCART compared to HDMI or components? Even Sky SD through HDMI is far superior

355f: The beocentre 2 doesnt need to upscale as the BS3 in bv4/9 does that in a better way than an inbuilt scaler. A scaling chip costs $4 so im sure bno would have put this in if it influenced the results that much. It might not need to upscale, but it doesn't have HDMI-out, either. As far as I know, you have to connect via SCART? Also, don't

It's not just a stock drop - if you read the report, analysts are warning about the short-term B&O future and sales through Dec and early Jan have been poor. I think the report said sales in the UK were down as much as 12%. I'm not negative about B&O's future, although I am frustrated about some of the products I've bought (or

KENMAC: The following is taken from http://forum.blu-ray.com/showthread.php?p=493014#post493014 Good news that they are doing something with Blu-ray, not so good news it's 2009 (that could be end of 2009!). Seen some of the posts about B&O on that Blu-ray forum? Seen the posts that state that B&O spend all the time and money producing well

  • Re: BeoSound 5: What could it be?

Flappo The Grate: most people who buy their stuff ( outside this forum ) don't have an idea how to work a mac / pc and the last thing they want / need is a media centre - that will just complicate stuff Correct. My Mum is coming in to some money soon after selling the family house and was thinking of some new stuff for her (smaller) new place. She

Flappo The Grate: audi's may well be decent cars , but they utterly lack prestige or 'image' and let's face it , that's wht bno are ALL about you don't get a lot more prestigious and image conscious than bang & olufsen , not even apple can match them for that Flappo, not in the UK. In many ways, some people regard Audi above

  • Re: Big, bigger, biggest ?!

Keith Saunders: Given the weight, you would need a fork lift truck You're right. Has anyone tried lifting a BV9? My BV7-40 is heavy enough - I barely could lift the stand base, never mind the rest of it. The good thing is though, it's not something anyone can steal, easily.
