Decent bloke who's selling them too. I messaged him to let him know the models of compatible speakers (as he wasn't sure) and he sent me a nice reply genuinely thanking me. Some sellers take exception to advice so in the main I don't bother any more. I agree with Lee that it's fair to post it here. Maybe put it in the ebay section too

This style of Beolit radio. Truly classy design and would be right up there on my wish list even if they pared them down and added coloured aluminium grills instead of the plastic of the originals. I think they missed out when they released the BS3 - although it is very nice it just doesn't quite hit the spot for me. Agree with the panel speakers

blackbird160: I seem to remember that some one was doing a mirror / polished finish on speakers some time ago, there where some pictures of Beolab 4000s that had been "treated". I'm not entirely sure what the process was (the guy was obviously keeping it a secret) Craig but I don't believe it was re-anodising. His process was designed

rayfenwick: A few minor scratches on the mirror panels (my polishing gear will be coming out I think) Please don't be tempted to try polishing the mirror panels - you'll ruin them! The finish is NOT polished aluminium - it is anodised. Any attempt to polish them will be a disaster. Chris.

Is your beolink 1000 definately working OK? If you know it is, then try pressing the AV button once then retry as above. Chris.

Well here's my tuppen'orth. BS3 - lovely radio but no CD player which I believe is one of the prerequisites. Really just an excellent portable radio with a SD card slot which would mean converting all your CD's so not really the best option IMHO. Bose Wave . - My brother in law has one and it is very very good at what it does ie: a "portable"

Aye lad - tha's abart reet theyer. Seriously though - don't ALL B&O VHS's take the commands from the Beovision or are these earlier ones different and work as stand alone items? Chris. PS. if anyone else wants these remotes then they're welcome to them.

I've got about 7 of these Craig in varying conditions. No idea if they work or not as I've nothing to test them on. All missing the battery covers except one of them so I'm sure you'll get a fully working one out of them if you want 'em. Usual price - nowt Chris.
