When the same thing happened to by Beoccenter 9000 I just rubbed the old tape off with my finger. Just to make sure I did not damage the panel. Stuck it back on with double sided carpet tape. Craig

Peter: Also compare the picture of the LX2800 with that on the BV6. I defy anyone to tell me the BV6 is better! And the sound isn't any better either. Compare any of the L/LS/LX/MX to a BV6 and the picture will be better IMO. Even the older 5xxx/7xxx/8xxx series would be better IMO. Craig

beocool: I believe you can get a seperate RIAA, but I'm not sure. You can get an external RIAA, but it will most likely have Phono/RCA connections. Craig

If you look at the fret which goes around the screen they are about way up on each side. Just a 4" Driver and a small Tweeter, although the sound is impressive for their size. My BS3000 plays through the internal speakers of my BV3-32. Plenty good enough for my 26' X 12' Lonuge. Craig

Peter: 4600 manual now on thanks to the efforts of Craig! Many thanks! No problem, happy to help. Craig

Henry, the BV3-28 is only 50hz. Also a lot of standard features on the 32 were optional on the 28. By the time you had paid the extra most people went for the 32. As the 32 is based on the Avant, the 28 is based on the Beovision 1. Craig

Henry: I'm sure quite a few will cringe with what I'm about to say, but I do quite like the latest Bond movie - Casino Royale. I watched this today on BluRay via PS3 on BeoVision 4 and BeoLab 5. Not had the chance to see it yet. Carol brought me the complete James Bond box set for Christmas. Hve to admit I was very tempted to watch this first

So apart from the BS9000 you purchased all the rest of the equipment new and from the same dealer. If so I am totally gobsmaked that the dealer cannot help you. Does not matter if they sell other brands or not. Craig

Dave: Chrisreunion: The only head unit designed by B&O was a prototype that never came into production... Thats beautiful! So were the speakers that went with it. From what I remember they were round but had a Pentagon shape inside. Craig

Well as a happy BV3-32 owner for the past 3 years, I know what I would choose. Plus they are absolute bargins now. As for speakers if it is a Bedroom TV I think the internal speakers will be more than good enough. No matter which one you choose, Avant or BV3-32. Craig
