Now you see I would say one advantage is the compatible connectors and remotes! But there again I am in Europe and almost all my equipment is B&O!

Sounds more like a Beomaster 6000 - that is a bit like a lower powered 8000. There is also a Beomaster 900 obviously. Looking forward to hearing what you have!

The Beogram 6000 quad produces line level output so will be just the same as attaching a tape player or CD player. You have no need for a separate pre-amplifier. Which amplifier do you plan to use?

Agree completely about the BS5 - should have been wireless from the very start - and multiple units should be possible. Other wishes - a dramatic TV - I hope the BV10 is really going to live up to its billing - a cheaper slimmer and better BV5.

On the older radial decks there was a simple screw that altered the sensitivity of the weighing mechanism - interestingly I can find no reference to this in the later tangential deck manuals! It is probably still there though! Usually under the platter near the front and slightly to the right!

Very silly. You are clearly a good customer and a repeat one. If they did not make it clear that installation would cost, I don't think they can sensibly charge you later. I hope you get on better with your new dealer. Maybe you you need to talk to Lee!

For things like ear pads, I would go straight to Lee. As to whether you are right or not, you are probably right for you. B&O is not the only company that makes good products - it all depends on the balance you require. For something beautiful and ergonomic, B&O will take some beating. For something which is good value but yet well made, Panasonic

I find most B&O salesmen fine. The problem has always been getting people in the shop though. These days with the B1 stores, one can no longer have any reason to go in except to buy B&O. In my youth, Windows, my much lamented ex dealer, sold records and musical instruments and other makes. This allowed a little browsing. I am sure it also allowed
