Well I think it is wonderful - shame we didn't get one to review but it looks wonderful - and unexpected. I think the flute design is inspired - and will getting one myself.

I have used MP3 at 320kbps but have started using 320 kbps AAC instead.

The suspension has collapsed. Axel may be able to help.

This is the first all transistor set from B&O so you need to allow certain foibles due to age. Warm and easy sound - you don't say if yours is the K or M model (the K has built in speakers). The phono input is designed either for a crystal pick up or line level so you need a RIAA if you don't already have one. Any DIN rated tape recorder

Not sure that I would test a dome tweeter with a battery. If it moves a bit with music, I would look at the cross over first.

There always seems to have been a B&O sound - good bass and detailed but possibly slightly softer treble that makes the sound very easy to listen to for extended periods. This can sometimes be characterised as veiled by Hi-Fi magazines. The newer ALT speakers do not have this! Within the range, there has always seemed to have been an audio range

I think it is the T that comes with speakers but the K does have an amplifier. However it does also have a normal line out so it will attach to the 1200. The 2000 cannot be stood upright unlike the later 1200/1600. It is however a better performing deck.

That is the correct lead - the problem is that your amp has no earth connection - I would suggest connecting the earth to a convenient earth point - a radiator pipe or similar. You cannot access the rear channels as you would need a four channel amplifier - I wouldn't bother!
-
Not sure why it was being moderated! Approved - maybe the mention of pills!

I would switch off the CD4 though the rear channels will not be used anyway. It does stop the 6000 from picking up bogus carrier waves though. Your problem is going to be connecting the turntable to the amplifier - you normally have an earth connection which I cannot see on this amplifier. Beograms can be a little prone to hum without a decent earth
