• Re: B&O high tech solution
I have to say that I am a little bit confused by some opinions here. Saving energy is a "must", even when it starts with tiny little things like a power off button. Just think off the number off TV's in world if you would switch the off if unused.... I travel a lot and I am on the road most days of the week
The staff have abandoned their cars and walked home.. brrrr
That looks pretty severe Lee, you might actually have to put on your gloves and clean some snow off the windshield We haven't had this much snow on the south coast at this time of the year for decades, but it doesn't really stop anything from

  • Re: Motorstand not working on MX7000
The MX7000 is Type 8700 and has sw. mx 4.00 and I'm using Beolink 1000 Mk. II and Mk. III
That's your problem, that rather late software version apparently doesn't respond to the PICTURE + <</>> commands. It was designed to be used with a Beo4, which uses a differect command (STAND) to

  • Re: Issue with Beolab Penta 1's

Oh, you should've said up front that you have been in there already. Pretty sure it is a connection problem then, at least for the non-operational mid unit. I'll leave fiddling with the amp itself to somebody who has actually been inside of one

  • Re: Issue with Beolab Penta 1's

That's a possibility, but if the connectors were last off at the factory, they are very tight and should not get disconnected by themselves (you're more likely to need pliers). Worth checking though, as the midranges indeed rely on just those two wires between the boards. If the condition of the midrange drivers themselves is unknown, try putting

This is just regular EU practice - the bureucrats see a problem, issue a regulation, the regulation is satisfied by a feature that costs money but nobody will ever use, and everybody is happy.

  • Re: What do all of you B&O owners think of the 3D HDTV craze?

It will spread like plague once the p0rn industry catches on. No sooner, no later.

  • Re: BeoVision 10 with bigger screen

I heard it's 20% probability to be some Thursday. It will also cost more than BV10-40 (oops, shoud've saved that one for tomorrow's BV10 thread...).

  • Re: My wishlist for 2010

I generally think that tying itself up with a product by another, totally unrelated company would be a very bad move for a slow moving entity like B&O. Once they had something like this on the market, what guarantee is there that after six months, Apple won't introduce a totally incompatible iSomething, which everybody just needs to have? I
