I have to admit to not using mine very much with my 5000 system, though that may be more on account of its location. I have the stack on top of a dresser in the master. If it were, say in a living room, where the MCP might be on a coffee table... well then I would probably use it more. The terminal gets 99% of the use.

Thanks Andy! No, not for Simon! I now have a second Serene in the house. This one has the proper dock that synchs with the BeoComs. Prior, I only had the generic desktop charger. I thought I would ask the question in preparation to a first synchronization this evening (might save some hair pulling). I guess the decision now is: Which handset do I use
