  • Re: Ghosting on link TV

David, Well, your link frequency is set to 527 is it. I am assuming it was set to a non default value for a reason ? At that frequency you may be getting cross channel interference depending where you live. I suggest that before you check the cables you change the link frequency to 591 and re-tune all your link TV's

  • Re: DVB-T Menu

Ian, I have tested your command which is equal to EXIT -- YELLOW on the Beo4 using the command you defined and it works fine. 0:000:TV:EXIT+0:000:TV:CNTL_WIND You do not need any delays, but I would ask if you get any errors when it finalises which could effect the working of the command. What TV is the DVB-T fitted too ?
  • Re: DVB-T Menu

Ian, When you say BACK then RED you are actually doing the same as EXIT then RED on the Beo4 and is also the same as "guide" on the screen, they all produce 0:000:TV:EXIT+0:000:TV:CNTL_STEP_DW as you said and that works fine to bring up the full screen EPG Where things are not so straight forward are the colours used as sub-commands of the
  • Re: Dealer or Home Configuration?

If you want your Beo5 configuration produced by your dealer, you will need the "Configuration.xml" file
  • Re: Dealer or Home Configuration?

Ian, Let me start with your issue of Windows XP not recognising your Beo5. Assuming it has never recognised it means for some reason the driver was not installed. To check this use the following commands Right Click on "My Computer" Left click on "Properties" OR if you do not have the "My Computer" icon on your desktop
  • Re: Ghosting on link TV

David, I am assuming that the Sky+ box is connected to the AVANT in the normal way via the SCART and the AVANT RF (link) output is connected to the B&O link amplfier ? please confirm. If the above is true then your faint lines will be either caused by fine tuning of the link frequency required (default is 591) or an impedance mis-match which can

  • Re: Link commands for Sky+ Box with DVB-T module fitted to master.

As you have a DVB-T in your AVANT it will always be assigned to SAT/DTV, so when using a STB like your Sky+ box with the STB controller it will normally be used with V-AUX. If V-AUX is not currently in your LIST on your Beo4 you will have to add it. If you can control the Sky+ box in the master (AVANT) room then you should be able to control it in the

  • Re: Ghosting on link TV

If you do not have correctly impedance match 75 ohm cable you will almost always get some kind of ghosting. I suggest you use CT100 coax cable terminated with the correct type of connectors. Also there is a RF link amplifier made by B&O to ensure the very best picture can be achieved on a link TV You can review it HERE which also has a link to an

  • Re: Pro logic module intallation into Avant

In that case it is quite easy to fit, but you will need a small special screw driver.

  • Re: BT Vision and Avant

Yes, I am suggesting just that. The Lintronics box is a very flexable device which has internal transmitting and receiving diodes as well as being able to plug in others at teh back of the unit. Before you actually purchase the box, I suggest you download the "setup" software and have a look at it. It is fairly complex because it can provide
