I'm not absolutely sure what components you have but for sure the Powerlink cable from the 2300 to the converter must be a Mk2 or often called fully wired cable. If that's no help then please clarify what you have with type numbers.

If the TV is new then don't meddle with it. Get your dealer to sort it. You've paid enough!

If you are used to the brighter, more clinical sound of modern speakers then you are almost certainly not going to like pentas. It's quite OK not to like the penta sound. Like me, you should withstand the torrent of "abuse" directed at you by the majority on this site and just stick with what you like!

It's got it's knickers in a twist somewhere. Is this a stand alone 9500 we are discussing or part of a link system? If stand alone, do the front panel controls work as should. ie not using a remote? If not then suggest unplug from mains, leave 2 mins then plug in and try again.

Remove the plater and the rear portion of the lid (the plastic bit with the grooves in). Now you will see three round cutouts in the base spaced around the outer edge of the sub platter, within them is a screw (Philips headed) which adjusts the tension on the spung chassis. Only small changes are required to lift/lower and it's a bit trial and error

It most definitely is not multiregion and there is no simple hack that I know of to make it so. There are those shady characters around who will modify the firmware to make it multiregion, I think Lee knows of one. Be wary of the Mk1 versions whose DVD mechs are now getting a bit "iffy". I have had two recently which cost me a lot of money
