As mentioned earlier, I have "forum.beoworld.org" stored as a "favourite" in my browser and so very rarely visit the main site (unless for product info etc). The forum has had no issues during the last few weeks.

Jandyt: How could I possibly confuse you with a Dave, Austin? I was just posting in advance in case some Dave or other was having trouble logging on. (He obviously is!) I don't think so - Daves are patently better logger-inners than those folk who's first names start with "A".

Now that you've peekd my interest - just how do you rate a thread (I need to give this 0 if possible but 1 if I'm pushed) - I have never felt the need before and now I find I don't know how to do it anyway! Edit : Found it! - now that I know I shall happily ignore it forever

MartinM: I've recently purchased a Beogram CD50. However when attempting to play a disc, 1 is displayed then CD is ejected. I've taken the cover off and observed that the motor spins and a clicking noise heard from laser unit. From what I have read, often the motor is at fault and needs to be taken apart, cleaned and relubed. What I am unsure

Ooh you need an MCP - they're not small, they're not handy, thery're not even light but - they certainly do look the biz' sat on a chair arm. The only way to fly if you have one of the stack systems - maybe you can win one in the Prize Draw (if LEE can track one down)!

Would it help if I too said that true HD is not supported?

I I am really looking forward to the first Beosound 5 review I'm not of the camp that thinks B&O should chase what Apple are doing, I want B&O to do ther own stuff - but do it well as they have done (at times) in the past. I do expect to get shot down but hey, I'm a B&O fan. Please, please be stylish and original

Apparently my old Beocord 1600 is on the Front cover! Looking forward to getting my copy - of course you do realise that the Beoworld lot will be scouring the copy for any slight error! Though knowing
