Craig: Fingers crossed. good luck to everyone. Just had a look at next months prizes. The beocenter 9500 would look nice in my House. Craig Nah mate - it will easily match my Weimaraners better than your Greyhounds. Chris.

Not sure what you mean - do you mean a flashing red light on the rear of the handset? Chris.

Hi and welcome to Beoworld It sounds to me like he never had the padding in the first place. It is very very unusual to find U70's with the earpads intact as the black covering has deteriorated over the years and most are sold with just the bare foam. Replacement pads are not available anymore so I would suggest trying to get some bespoke replacements

Thanks Martin, that's exactly what I meant. I once owned a BC2200 which came with X35 speakers which were OK but no more. When I connected some B&O redline RL60.2's the sound improved 10 fold. It is still worth doing and won't cost a lot of money or effort. I agree that the beogram 4002 is a beautiful machine RIAA preamps are freely available and cost anything from a few Euro's up to as much as you are willing to pay. Adaptor cables are also freely available and cheap to buy - simply ask here for advice on the correct ones. Chris

Not a bad little music center but will probably need the belts replacing on the cassette deck soon if not now. Not a difficult task for anyone with decent DIY skills. Other thing to be careful of is the cartridge/stylus. If it is in good condition then leave it where it is - don't be tempted to remove it for cleaning unless absolutely necessary

I'm pretty sure John's rgiht. It's certainly the way to do it with the later tangential decks and I'm pretty well 99% sure it's the same with the beocenter 2200. Chris.

Hi jjihonor and welcome to Beoworld. You cannot connect the Beogram 4002 directly to your Beomaster 4500 due to a lack of RIAA (pre-amp) in this model of turntable. You can however connect it using an external RIAA fitted between the Beogram and your Beomaster. The problem with doing this though is you will lose the remote control capability and a couple
